Hypopressives are a breathing & postural technique which re-programme the core muscles so that they start to work again without you having to think about it.
The exercises are easy to learn, and reduce internal pressure to the abdominal and pelvic areas of the body.
Formulated in the 1980's in Spain by Dr Marcel Caufriez, the technique is taught worldwide as effective treatment for pelvic health.

In early 2022 whilst completing CPD in Pelvic Health I realised that I needed to see a women's health physiotherapist. After I was diagnosed with a pelvic organ prolapse I was initially embarrassed and frustrated. Wanting to find out as much as I could about Pelvic health and the factors that can impact the function of your pelvic floor I completed more training. This was the lightbulb moment for me where I not only understood why I was experiencing difficulties but also the importance of incorporating the Pelvic health into classes for my clients.
Through a combination of the methods I now teach I have been able to improve my pelvic organ prolapse. My message is that you do not have to put up with pelvic floor difficulties. You can improve your pelvic health.
