In 2005 after having back surgery, my Osteopath recommended I try Pilates as a way of regaining my strength and mobility. Overwhelmed by the speed of my recovery and the reduction in pain once Pilates was introduced into my rehabilitation programme I made Pilates a regular part of my routine.
