Welcome to cothi valley pilates

My name is Becki and I teach Body Control Pilates apparatus and mat classes in Brechfa



Cothi Valley Pilates classes are small, welcoming, fun, and supportive. I know every client's name and give different adaptations for exercises so that you can work at the right level for your body and health needs.

 



Pilates is effective for the prevention and management of low back pain. 

My own experience of chronic pain prior to having back surgery means that I understand the physical, lifestyle, and emotional impact back pain has and am empathetic to clients needs.   

Pilates exercises are a great way to maintain strength and mobility, and help with balance and with tasks of everyday living as we get older.

Pilates with a bone health qualified teacher is also recommended as safe and effective exercise for osteoporosis.

Women's health matters, and a woman will spend approximately one third of her life in the menopause transition. I am passionate about helping women to improve their pelvic health, sleep problems, joint pain, and anxiety, through movement.

The mat work is the foundation of the Pilates method. We offer a variety of classes from gentle wellbeing to advanced, ensuring that you progress at a pace that works for you.

Pilates is a system of movement which uses a variety of apparatus. In these sessions you will use the Reformer, Tower, Wunda Chair, Ladder Barrel, Ped-o-Pull, & Baby Chair.

We offer a weekly timetable of mat classes which you can do from the comfort of your own home. Class sizes are kept small to ensure that you receive individual attention even on zoom.

I listen to your reasons for coming to classes and plan each lesson to help you to achieve these goals. Attending a regular weekly class means that you will see progress towards your goals within a few weeks.
